I totally fell in love with this band when I first heard them about 5 years ago, I remember somebody mentioning their song 'Nancy Boy' was blatently about me, I was quite insulted at the time and went and listened to it to see what the fuck they were on about, I had an instant love for their sound.

I kind of lost track of them for a little bit, until I watched Cruel Intentions, I thought it was a really shitty film but I loved the soundtrack, I have recently came across this shit video on youtube which is a remix, but I love it despite the poor video.

The next song I feel is their greatest on their debut album, I have only just found the video when I was making this news post, it is brilliant. I think there something about a man crawling about in a swamp that appeals to me.

This next video I find quite poignant, I have always wanted to do something like that, stand on the edge of a building and look down, I used be scared of heights when I was younger but now I seem to be attracted to them, kind of strange, I look at basejumping, paragliding and parachuting and think how cool it would be to do it.

I have found with Placebo all their Albums have been fairly strong and they continue to release powerful music that still sends chills down my spine, I hope to continue listening to their unique style.

There is a truth behind their music that has stayed with me and helped me step back from life and take stock of everything.

They never fail to entertain me.
